PATTON, Mo. -- Patton Junction Livestock Auction Monday. Receipts, 687; week ago, 1,826; last year, 250. Compared to last week 500 lbs steers and heifers sold 2.00-4.00 higher, the rest of the offering sold steady to 1.00 lower. Slaughter cows and bulls sold 1.00-2.00 higher; Demand and supply light. Cows and bulls made up approximately 8 percent of the run, 92 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 50 percent of the offering, 1 percent Holsteins, and 46 percent heifers. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 23 percent.
