Slaughter cows sold steady to 1.00 higher, bulls 1.00 higher; Demand moderate and supply light. Cows made up approximately 16 percent of the run, feeders 84 percent. Steers made up approximately 63 percent of the offering and 37 percent heifers. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 35 percent.

PATTON, Mo. -- Patton Junction Livestock Auction Monday. Receipts, 1,169; week ago, 1,183; last year, 1,182. Compared to last week, 300-500 lbs steers and 300-400 lbs heifers sold 8.00-12.00 higher, the rest of the offering sold 1.00-3.00 higher.
Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady to 1.00 higher; demand and supply moderate. Cows and bulls made up approximately 9 percent of the run, 91 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 55 percent of the offering, 3 percent Holsteins and 42 percent heifers. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 26 percent.
