FREEWILL BAPTIST TO HOST FAIRCHILD

Barbara Fairchild will be in concert Sunday at First Freewill Baptist Church, 2919 Kage Road. The program begins at 7 p.m.

A two-time Grammy nominee, Fairchild was a country music artist in the 1970s with such hits as the "Teddy Bear Song," "Kidstuff," and "Baby Doll." She is now in the gospel music ministry full time.

Fairchild resides in Branson, where she conducts the Sunday morning worship service at Glenn Campbell Theater. She is also part of the gospel group Heirloom, with co-artists Tanya Goodman-Sykes, Candy Hemphill and Sherri Easter.
