Kathleen Mattis will present a viola concert in Cape Girardeau March 22.
The concert is free to the public and will be held at 3 p.m. at the Old St. Vincent's Religious and Cultural Center, 131 S. Main.
Accompanying Wolf on the piano will be St. Louisan Patricia Wolf, a recent graduate of Juilliard. The concert will include works from two periods, including classical with works from Mozart. Representing the early 20th century will be works from Ralph Vaughan Williams and George Gershwin.
Mattis has performed with the Trio Cassatt and the Amabile Piano Quartet, and with the St. Louis Symphony. She is also principal violinist with the Opera Theatre of St. Louis.
