FREDERICKTOWN RESIDENTS HURT IN CRASH

Two Fredericktown residents were injured Monday afternoon in an accident on Route E.

Cynthia Sikes, 35, received serious injuries and Sara Dickerson, 21, received moderate injuries. Both drivers were taken to Madison Memorial Hospital in Fredericktown.

The accident occurred at 2:20 p.m. when Sikes attempted to make a turn and hit Dickerson's vehicle head-on, the Missouri Highway Patrol said.
