FREDERICKTOWN MAN KILLED NEAR POPLAR BLUFF

POPLAR BLUFF -- A Fredericktown man died in a single-vehicle accident near here early Wednesday morning. Thomas Ward, 44, was pronounced dead at the scene of the car crash on Highway 53 about two miles south of the city. Ward was traveling southbound about 1:45 a.m. when his car ran off the right side of the highway, hit a driveway embankment and overturned, ejecting him from the vehicle.
