Four people from Cape Girardeau are facing several felony charges in connection with a burglary last month in Perryville, Missouri, the Perry County, Missouri, Sheriff's Department reported Wednesday.
Deshone Bailey, 33; Chelsea Davis, 17; Brian Jones, 19; and Audre Stewart, 19, all were charged with two counts each of burglary and one count each of felony theft of a firearm, felony theft and felony property damage in connection with a reported burglary at 223 Farmers Lane in Perryville, according to a news release from the Perry County Sheriff's Department.
Online court records show Jones and Bailey have had prior brushes with the law.
Jones was charged earlier this month in Cape Girardeau County with first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary, armed criminal action and receiving stolen property.
Bailey pleaded guilty in Cape Girardeau County Circuit Court to third-degree domestic assault in 2010 and 2011.
In April, Bailey pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and was placed on probation for five years.
In a separate case, a Perryville man has been charged in connection with three burglaries in Perry County, the sheriff's department reported.
Gregory Naeger, 37, was arrested and charged with three counts of burglary, two counts of felony stealing and one count of misdemeanor stealing in connection with burglaries Nov. 18 and 22 and Dec. 1.
Naeger is being held in the Perry County Jail on $20,000 cash only bond.
Online court records show Naeger has a lengthy criminal history. He pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated in February 1995. Four months later, he pleaded guilty to felony stealing.
In 2000, Naeger pleaded guilty to two instances of driving while revoked. The following year, he pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana; third-degree assault on a law-enforcement officer; second-degree property damage; second-degree burglary; and attempted stealing.
In 2002, Naeger pleaded guilty to escape or attempted escape from custody.
He pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated in 2010.
