Four finalists were chosen for the provost's position at Southeast Missouri State University, according to a news release from the university.

The four are scheduled to interviewed the weeks of Nov. 4 and Nov. 11. They include:

  • Dr. William Eddleman, vice provost and dean of the School of Graduate Studies at Southeast. Interview dates are Nov. 5 and 6.
  • Jeffrey Morin, dean of the College of Fine Arts and Communication at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Interview dates are Nov. 4 and 5.
  • Dr. Larry Daniel, dean of the College of Education and Human Services, University of North Florida in Jacksonville. Interview dates are Nov. 11 and 12.
  • Dr. Gersham Nelson, dean of the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg.

The finalists were chosen after interviews Oct. 15 and 16 at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport. The national search began after Dr. Ron Rosati left Southeast in early summer to accept a position at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis. Dr. Gerald McDougall is serving as interim provost.
