Traffic accidents Wednesday, Thursday and Friday injured four Marble Hill residents, two of them seriously.
Cynthia Bridges, 36, of Marble Hill was taken to Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau after the 2:59 p.m. accident Wednesday on Highway 34 in Marble Hill.
The other driver, Jimmy Castile, 31, of Marble Hill also was injured.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Castile's vehicle attempted to turn left into a private drive and pulled in the path of Bridges' vehicle.
An accident at 12:58 p.m. Thursday resulted in serious injuries to pedestrian James Martin, 51, of Marble Hill. He was taken by air ambulance to St. Francis Medical Center after the accident on Highway 34, one mile east of Marble Hill.
According to the Highway Patrol, Martin stepped into the path of a vehicle driven by Joyce Stinson, 64, of Jackson. She was not injured.
An accident at 4:50 p.m. Friday near Puxico resulted in serious injures to Elizabeth Adams, 34, of Marble Hill and Elizabeth O'Neal, 54, of Kirkwood. Adams was taken to Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff. O'Neal was taken by air ambulance to Southeast Missouri Hospital.
The accident occurred on Route T, 3 miles west of Puxico.
According to the Highway Patrol, Adams' vehicle ran off the roadway and overturned.
