Four people were injured in three separate accidents on Southeast Missouri roads during the Labor Day holiday weekend.
Owen Sandler, 23, of Friedheim, Mo., was injured and taken by ambulance to Southeast Missouri Hospital Monday afternoon after an accident on Route KK.
Sandler was moderately injured after his motorcycle was struck by a vehicle driven by David Carroll, 19, of Perryville, Mo.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Carroll attempted to make a left turn on Route KK about three miles west of Friedheim when he turned into the path of Sandler's motorcycle, which was traveling eastbound.
Citations were pending, the patrol said.
Kelly McCully, 19, and Kathryn Godsey, 37, both of Marble Hill, Mo., were moderately injured Monday after an accident on Route OO east of Burfordville, Mo.
According to a patrol report, McCully was driving westbound and skidded across the center line, striking a vehicle driven by Godsey. The accident happened about 8:11 a.m. Monday.
Both were taken to St. Francis Medical Center for treatment.
Godsey was cited by the patrol for failing to drive on the right half of the roadway.
A 6-year-old girl was moderately injured in a one-vehicle accident Saturday evening near Bernie, Mo.
Paige Vandeveer of Dexter, Mo., was taken to St. Francis Medical Center for treatment. She was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Gregory Pippins, 36, of Dexter.
