BENTON, Mo. -- Four people are in custody on drug charges as a result of a drug-related search warrant, according to Scott County Sheriff Rick Walter,
Timothy C. Taylor, 39, Celeste P. Johnson, 19, both of Sikeston, Mo., and Jennifer N. Carpenter, 18, of Oran, Mo., are charged with possession with the intent to distribute a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. Dakoda S. Watkins, 18, of Sikeston is charged with possession with the intent to distribute a controlled substance.
Deputies discovered the suspects making methamphetamine inside the Miner, Mo., residence when a search warrant was served Monday night, Walter said. They also seized three marijuana plants and drug paraphernalia. All four remain in custody in the Scott County Jail. Bond is $100,000 for Taylor, $75,000 for Johnson, $50,000 for Watkins and $75,000 for Carpenter.
