Four arrests in Anna beating
ANNA, Ill. -- Four teenage suspects were arrested Tuesday evening in connection with a weekend beating in Anna. According to a news release from the Anna Police Department, the suspects are Damian Martin, 17; Clint Hileman, 18; James Davis, 18; and Bruel Miller, 19. All were arrested on warrants for aggravated battery and were taken to the Jackson County Jail. Each was being held Wednesday on a $100,000 bond. ..

ANNA, Ill. -- Four teenage suspects were arrested Tuesday evening in connection with a weekend beating in Anna.
According to a news release from the Anna Police Department, the suspects are Damian Martin, 17; Clint Hileman, 18; James Davis, 18; and Bruel Miller, 19. All were arrested on warrants for aggravated battery and were taken to the Jackson County Jail. Each was being held Wednesday on a $100,000 bond.
The beating occurred Saturday in a municipal parking lot on South Street.

The victim, a 16-year-old male, was first taken to a local hospital, then transported by helicopter to a hospital in St. Louis.
The Southeast Missourian was unable to get authorities to discuss the case Wednesday afternoon.
