ST. LOUIS (AP) -- Former U.S. Sen. Jim Talent has joined Fleishman-Hillard, the St. Louis-based public relations firm.

The firm announced Wednesday that Talent will advise a broad base of clients in local and national public affairs and government relations. He'll work from the agency's offices in St. Louis and Washington

Talent, a Republican, served 20 years in Missouri and national politics. He was defeated in his re-election bid in November by Democrat Claire McCaskill.
