ST. LOUIS (AP) -- A 26-year-old former employee of Copia Urban Winery and Market faces arson charges for the blaze that badly damaged the downtown St. Louis business.

The federal charges were announced on Friday. In addition to restaurant and winery, the adjoining Vanguard Loft Apartments were also damaged in the fire in December.

Summers was indicted by a federal grand jury on two felony counts of arson and arrested on Thursday.

The blaze happened about two hours after the restaurant closed. No one was hurt, but several people were evacuated from loft apartments.
