FORMER CAPE WOMAN RECEIVES MD DEGREE

Former Cape Girardeau resident Teresa Macey Ainsworth recently graduated with a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine.

Dr. Ainsworth is a cum laude graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, and earned a master's degree at the University of New Mexico before completing her medical degree. She was recognized by Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities in 1986.

She plans to complete a neurosurgical research fellowship at the University of New Mexico, followed by further training in general and plastic/reconstructive surgery.

She resides in Albuquerque with her husband David and daughter Aspen, 4. Her parents are Henry a. Macey and Hazel Macey Dill. Her husband's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Leon Ainsworth of Cape Girardeau.
