CAPE GIRARDEAU -- A former Cape Girardeau teenage will compete in the Miss Missouri Teen USA pageant today and Saturday in Columbia.
Misty Burroughs, 17, of Arnold, was crowned "Miss Arnold" in 1989, and will compete for the chance to represent Missouri in the Miss Teen USA pageant to be held in Biloxi, Miss., in August.

A student at Fox High School, Burroughs is on the honor roll, a member of the track team, Letterman's Club, DECA, and captain of the varsity cheerleading squad.
Burroughs is formerly of Cape Girardeau.
