U.S. Sen. Jean Carnahan will give the keynote address. Local historians will speak about the high school's former locations on Broadway, Pacific Street and Caruthers Avenue.

"Having Sen. Carnahan as the keynote speaker is a tremendous compliment to the school and the community," Cowan said.

The dedication will also feature the high school band, choir and orchestra. A reception and open house will follow.
