Curves For Women, a 30-minute fitness and weight loss center in Jackson and Cape Girardeau, will be joining in the "Food For Friends," nationwide food drive to benefit local food banks.

During the month of March, members who bring a bag of non-perishable food items exercise three times weekly and lose five pounds and five inches, will be awarded a limited edition Food For Friends tee-shirt.

Anyone joining Curves the week of March 15 may bring a bag of groceries and have the normal service fee waved. Non-perishable food items may be dropped off at Curves Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3-8 p.m. The food will be donated to area food banks.

Curves is located at 425 W. Main in Jackson and 416 S. Kingshighway in Cape. The Jackson phone number is 204-1434.
