FOLK SINGER TO GIVE TWO SHOWS SUNDAY

Folk musician Judy Domeny will give free concerts of traditional Ozarks music Sunday at the Bollinger Mill State Historic Site and Trail of Tears State Park.

Domeny will perform in the picnic are at the Bollinger Mill at 4:30 p.m. Visitors are asked to bring lawn chairs.

The show at Trail of Tears State Park will begin at 8 p.m. Directions to the concert site can be obtained at the Visitors Center.

Domeny, who is from Springfield, has been performing since age 12. She has recorded one album of Ozark folk songs and another of traditional songs. Most of her repertoire dates from the mid-1800s to the early 1900s.

Both performances are sponsored by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
