A folk music concert last Sunday was held at Bollinger Mill State Historic Site.

Musicians Obie Blevens and Rick Thum performed on a wide variety of instruments, including the banjo, fiddle, harmonica, guitar and hammer dulcimer.

The duet played folk, gospel, Celtic and Scottish tunes, with some as familiar as "The Yellow Rose of Texas."

To encourage the audience to sing along, "Get Off the Oven Door Grandma, You're Too Old to Ride the Range" was a good choice. The duo also played the nostalgic tune, "Come Home It's Suppertime."
