PERRYVILLE -- Andrew's Flower Garden, 9 East Ste. Maries St., Perryville, has been accepted as a member of Florists' Transworld Delivery (FTD) Association.
"FTD is the world's oldest and largest inter-city, flowers-by-wire delivery organization," said Mark A. Hotop, who opened the Flower Garden in July 1992. "We are proud to be a part of such an exclusive wire service. FTD's standards are high, and I think the selection of our shop reflects well on the quality work of our business."
FTD is owned and operated by its independent professional retail florist members. It serves customers in more than 33,000 cities in the U.S. and Canada as well as areas in Mexico, Latin America, the Caribbean and Far East.
The Flower Garden is also affiliated with Interflora, a FTD-affiliated delivery network. "With both of these delivery services we can provide floral deliveries to more than 150 countries throughout the world," Hotop said.
Hotop, originally from Cape Girardeau, has nine years experience working with flowers.
"Our shop caters to every occasion, such as funerals, weddings, birthdays and anniversaries," said Hotop. "We don't specialize in any one phase; I want to leave myself open to the customers' needs."
