Cape Girardeau police said that a small area of North West End Boulevard near downtown reported a power outage. No flooding was reported in the city.

Spokesmen for the sheriff's departments in Bollinger and Perry counties said the rain was falling hard, but they had received no reports of weather-related problems.

No problems were reported in Scott County, which was reported to be out of range of the flood watch issued by the weather service.
