"The driver blew through the stop sign," Natchez Trace Park Ranger Joe Mangino said.

No charges had been filed, authorities said Sunday. The driver of the car that went through the stop sign, David Lee Lawrence of Canton, was taken to University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, police said. A hospital spokeswoman did not immediate return a call seeking Lawrence's condition.

Two of the victims were identified as Kenneth Miller, 10, and Joslin Miller, 7, whose mother, Lisa Miller of Jackson, was driving, police said. Miller also was taken to University of Mississippi Medical Center.
