Current: Murky but clearing, 2' above normal; all species fair on artificial and natural baits.
Jack's Fork: Muddy. 2' above normal, all species slow.
James (below Hooten Town): Clear, catfish good on artificial bait and live crawdads on rod and reel; bluegill good on worms and nightcrawlers; white bass fair on nightcrawlers and minnows.
Meramec (below Eureka): Clear, slightly high, catfish fair on worms; bass fair on artificial lures.
Meramec (above Sullivan): Clear, normal; bass good on artificial lures.
Mississippi (below Charleston): Muddy, falling; all species slow.
Mississippi (above St. Louis): Muddy, 6' high and rising; all fishing slow.
Missouri (below New Haven): Muddy, slightly high; catfish good on nightcrawlers and cut shad; drum fair on natural bait.
Missouri (below Lexington): High; blue catfish and flatheads good on live bait; drum fair on worms and live bait; other species fair.
Missouri (below Iowa line): Murky, above normal, lots of debris; catfish fair on prepared baits in the slow water by the dikes.
St. Francis (below Wappapello): Muddy, high; al species slow.
St. Francis (above Wappapello): Clear, high; sunfish and catfish good on live bait; bass good on live bait and topwater lures.
LAKES:
Bull Shoals (East): Clear, 21' above normal; black bass fair on plastic worms and live bait; bluegill good on nightcrawlers; catfish fair on live bait and stinkbaits; all other fishing slow.
Bull Shoals (K-Dock): Clear, 22' above power poll; bluegill good on crickets; catfish good on worms; all other fishing slow.
Busch Memorial Conservation Area (Lake 33): Clear; bass good on spinnerbaits and plastic worms; bluegill good on worms and crickets; catfish good on chicken livers; all other fishing slow.
Clearwater: Clear, 3' above normal; crappie fair on minnows and crankbaits using trolling method; bluegill fair using crickets and worms along shorelines; catfish fair on chicken liver using juglines; carp good on corn; all other fishing slow.
Duck Creek: Clear, normal; bass good on plastic worms, spinnerbaits and topwater lures; bluegill fair to good on crickets and worms; catfish fair on cut bait; vegetation 80 percent.
Lake of the Ozarks (Bagnell tailwaters): Normal, muddy, 5 flood gates open and 8 generators running; white bass fair, catfish fair downstream on natural baits; all other fishing slow.
Lake of the Ozarks (Glaize): Murky; bluegill, catfish and white bass good; black bass fair; all other fishing slow.
Lake of the Ozarks (Gravois): Clearing; catfish good; black bass fair; crappie fair to slow; white bass slow.
Lake of the Ozarks (Niangua): Clear; black bass good on crankbaits, buzzbaits and plastic worms; white bass good on shad, fair on artificial minnows and Rooster Tails; crappie slow; walleye fair on nightcrawlers, leeches and minnows, fished deep; sunfish fair on worms and crickets; catfish fair on prepared bait on pole and line.
Lake of the Ozarks (Osage): Murky, bluegill, catfish and white bass good; black bass fair; all other species slow.
Table Rock (James River Arm): Clear, 2 1/2' above power pool; bass fair on plastic worms and nightcrawlers; bluegill good on nightcrawlers and crickets; catfish, crappie, white bass and walleye fair.
Wappapello: Lake level normal but rising; discharge 440 cfs; bass good in early a.m. on topwater lures; bluegill good on crickets; crappie and catfish fair. NOTE: Anglers are encouraged to harvest bass under 11 inches (daily limit 6) to reduce the numbers of small bass in Wappapello Lake.
TROUT AREAS:
Bennett Spring: Clear, slightly up; trout good.
Meramec Spring: Clear, normal; fishing good.
Montauk: Clear, normal, rainbow trout good in early a.m.
Roaring River: Clear, normal; trout good.
