Courtney Carroll holds her new baby daughter Logan on Saturday at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. Logan is the first Southeast Missouri baby of the new year, born at 11:07 a.m. Friday. She weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces and was 18 1/4 inches long.
