First Friday event to feature water system presentation

The Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce's First Friday Coffee event Friday, July 12 will feature a presentation on the city's water system.

Casey Brunke, the City of Cape Girardeau's director of Public Works, and Alliance Water Resources' local manager Jonathan Ridings will speak during the program.

The First Friday Coffee event begins at 7 a.m. at the Century Casino Cape Girardeau Events Center at 777 N. Main St.

Normally held on the first Friday of each month, this month's networking event was pushed back to the second Friday because of the Fourth of July holiday.
