First Friday Coffee to include presentation on disaster training sessions

Capt. Paul Breitenstein of the Cape Girardeau Fire Department will give a presentation about the Community Emergency Response Team during this week's First Friday Coffee at the Show Me Center.

Breitenstein will discuss upcoming training sessions and an opportunity for employees to receive training at their businesses. A CERT is a group of volunteer emergency workers who have basic training in disaster preparedness.

Canedy Sign and Graphics and Kelly Services are sponsors for the monthly networking Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce event, which begins at 7:40 a.m. Doors open at 7 a.m.
