The Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce First Friday Coffee, being held today because of the July 4 holiday, will feature a presentation on the city's Transportation Trust Fund vote on the Aug. 3 ballot. City manager Scott Meyer and Mayor Harry Rediger will deliver a PowerPoint slideshow on the proposal to extend a half-cent sales tax for five years to pay for major road construction and maintenance projects. The First Friday Coffee begins at 7 a.m. at the Show Me Center, 1333 N. Sprigg St.
