The First Annual Bob Camp Christmas Hoot will be held Thursday at Broussard's.
The free event is an organizational party for a pre-Christmas benefit to be held next year. That benefit will help Toybox or other worthy projects, Camp said.
Camp will perform solo from 7:30-9:30 Thursday, to be followed by special guests singing Christmas songs. Among the special guests are Brave Little Toasters, Octane Twilight, Dustin Ash, Clay Thomas, Peter Kovac, Theresa Morrill and Tom Beggs, Rick Bain, Kyle Moyers, Bill Huey, Wesley Gray, Danny McSwain, Vinson Wingo, Tom Kuntz, Chuck Gower and Dave Creech.
A jam session with all the musicians will ensue at 11 p.m.
Those who attend are welcome to bring a gift. "I personally will see that it gets to a needy child," Camp said.
