Fire labeled suspicious, under investigation

A fire at 432 Morgan Oak St. on Sunday night is considered suspicious and is being investigated by the Cape Girardeau Fire Department.

Because an investigation is ongoing, more details were not be provided.

The fire occurred at 8 p.m. in a free-standing shed that had no power running to it, according to reports from the fire department. No one was in the building at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.
