PIEDMONT, Mo. -- Four firetrucks and a maintenance truck belonging to the Piedmont Volunteer Fire Department and the Clearwater Rural Fire District were damaged Thursday night when a fire broke out in the building the two agencies share in Piedmont. "The call came in at 10:24 p.m.," said Clearwater Rural Fire District chief Joshua Allen, who also said the fire started in one of the building's truck bays. Allen said two smaller trucks were removed from the building before it received extensive damage. A state fire marshal investigator was on the scene late Thursday, and his investigation into the cause of the fire was ongoing Friday, according to Allen.
