ST. LOUIS (AP) -- A fire at a popular and eclectic downtown St. Louis museum causes minor damage.
The fire broke out Wednesday morning at City Museum. Spokesman Richard Callow says an artist was working on an exhibit when a spark caused a small fire. The artist and another person put out the blaze.
Two people were treated for minor smoke inhalation. The museum was evacuated around 10:45 but the public was allowed back in a little over an hour later.
The museum features a mix of exhibits, art work, tunnels that children climb through and oddities.
