Fire destroys vacant home near Dutchtown
An early morning fire destroyed a home on Highway 25 near Gordonville but no one was living in the residence at the time. Cape Girardeau Fire Department battalion chief Steve Niswonger said his crew arrived at the scene around 12:20 a.m. and joined Delta and Gordonville Fire Protection Districts in the effort to extinguish the blaze at the one-and-a-half story structure...
