A weekend fire at a Scott City storage facility destroyed as many as four units and their contents.
The Scott City Fire Department was called to the fire at 5:47 p.m. Sunday at 103 Emma St. Three to four units in the facility were completely destroyed, and heat and smoke damaged several other units, fire chief Jay Cassout said. A cause of the fire had not been determined, but was not considered suspicious, he said. About $20,000 in damages was done, Cassout said.
