Jackson firefighters contained a house fire at 3578 Nicole Lane in Jackson in about 20 minutes after arriving at 7:03 p.m. Friday, assistant Jackson fire chief Randy Davis said.
The fire started underneath the back deck of the house and then spread into a back bedroom and into the attic, Davis said.
Firefighters conducted overhaul, knocking down ceilings in places in the back deck and bedroom area, Davis said.
The owners of the house saw smoke quickly and asked neighbors to call emergency services, Davis said. None of the occupants of the house were injured.
