JACKSON -- The Jackson Municipal Band will hold its final weekly concert at 8 p.m. Thursday at the gazebo on the Cape Girardeau County Courthouse lawn uptown. JACKSON -- The Jackson Municipal Band will hold its final weekly concert at 8 p.m. Thursday at the gazebo on the Cape Girardeau County Courthouse lawn uptown.

The instrumental portion of the concert will include "Rifle Regiment," "Honey in the Horn," "Nobles of the Mystic Shrine," a selection of Cole Porter hits, "Spanish Fever" and many others.

The concert will last approximately one hour, and admission is free. Bring a blanket or lawn chair.
