KANSAS CITY, Mo. More than 34,000 Future Farmers of America (FFA) members, supporters, advisers and guests are expected to attend the 64th National FFA Convention to be held Nov. 13-16 in Kansas City.
A variety of topics will be discussed during the four-day session.
Awards will be presented to FFA members in 19 agricultural proficiency areas and in 11 judging and skill competition.
FFA was founded in Kansas City in 1928 at the Baltimore Hotel, only a few blocks from the current convention site.
FFA now has more than 382,600 members in more than 7,743 chapters preparing for agricultural careers.
