FEMA help

There are two FEMA Disaster Recovery Centers operating in the area to help victims of the March 18 to 19 storms and subsequent flooding. The hours and locations are:

• 502 W. Main St., Suite E, in Jackson. Hours are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily except Sunday.
• 33925 Highway 91 in Advance, Mo. Hours are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily except Sunday.

Before visiting a recovery center, flood claimants should register with FEMA either by calling the toll-free line at 800-621-3362 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. daily or by going online to www.fema.gov.

Registration requires the name listed on the applicant's Social Security card.
