The following information was released by the office of federal prosecutor Catherine Hanaway for defendants who appeared in federal court Monday before U.S. District Judge Catherine D. Perry:
Names: Harold A. Lawrence and Mary K. Lawrence
Ages: 46 and 47, respectively.
Residence: New Madrid County.
Charge: Felony conspiracy to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine and felony possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of a substance containing methamphetamine.
Sentence range: Up to life and a $4 million fine.
Details: Law enforcement officials searched both the Lawrences' home and business on May 19. At the business, agents found 602 grams of actual meth, scales, numerous plastic baggies and $12,000 in cash. At their home, officers found four small bags containing three grams of meth and a safe holding 456.9 grams of actual meth. Sentencing is Nov. 13.
