The following information was released by the office of U.S. Attorney Catherine Hanaway for defendants who appeared in federal court Monday before U.S. District Judge Catherine D. Perry:

SENTENCED

Name: Charles D. Stilley

Age: 35

Residence: Cape Girardeau

Charge: Distribution of cocaine base.

Sentence: 121 months in prison.

Details: Stilley admitted that on Jan. 9, he sold 14.4 grams of crack cocaine for $850 to an undercover officer in Cape Girardeau.

Name: Jeffrey L. Monaghan

Age: 22

Residence: Doniphan, Mo.

Charge: Setting fire to a building owned by the United States.

Sentence: 37 months in prison and restitution of $6,636.

Details: Monaghan admitted that on Feb. 21, he spread gasoline on the floor and set fire to a rest room building at the U.S. National Forest Float Camp in Ripley County.

PLEADED GUILTY

Name: Gregory Gamblin

Age: 38

Residence: Malden, Mo.

Charge: Possession of more than 50 grams of cocaine base with intent to distribute and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.

Sentence range: Up to life imprisonment and up to $6 million in fines.

Details: A search warrant at Gamblin's home May 10 revealed a safe containing $5,000 in cash, 64.42 grams of crack cocaine and 47.3 grams of powder cocaine. Gamblin admitted the drugs were his and the cash came from drug sales. Sentencing is Nov. 13.

Name: Larry L. Horton

Age: 21

Residence: Charleston, Mo.

Charge: Unlawful possession of a firearm.

Sentence range: Up to 10 years imprisonment and a $250,000 fine.

Details: A Charleston police officer patting down Horton Jan. 12 found in his pants a .40-caliber pistol loaded with nine rounds. Horton is prohibited from possessing a firearm due to previous felony convictions. Sentencing is Nov. 13.
