DETROIT (AP) -- A federal agent was shot Friday two blocks from the U.S. courthouse, police said.
The person who shot the agent inside the McNamara federal office building also was shot, police Officer Robert Carlton said.
The shooting occurred two blocks from the courthouse where a hearing was held earlier in the day for three men arrested in Detroit during the FBI investigation of the Sept. 11 terror attacks.
The conditions of those shot were not immediately known.
