BENTON -- The 1991 Farm Program provisions, soil and water programs and issues and economics for farm and market outlooks are among topics to be discussed during the 6th annual Farmers Information Meeting is schedule Feb. 22 at Robert's Banquet Hall here.
The day long meeting, sponsored by the scott County Soil and Water Conservation District and Local Chemical Company representatives, will get under way at 8 a.m.
Speakers include Kenny Vowels, Scott County ASCS director;' John Byrd, chairman of Scott County SWCD Board; Leon Everly, county SCS conservationist; David Reinbott, extension specialist; Greg Branum, aide to Congressman Bill Emerson; Mark Boone, of Missouri department of Conservation; Barry Sims, UMC state weed control specialist from the Delta Center at Portageville; and Gary Hoette, agronomy specialist from Montgomery City.
