The Jackson farmers market, which takes place every Tuesday afternoon during the summer, is now operating from 9 a.m. to noon every Saturday until Dec. 18 at the First Presbyterian Church in Jackson.
Vendor Sharla Green said the market started the new day and time Oct. 9 and has seen an increase in vendors throughout those two weekends.
Green said the regular market ended in September but that there is still plenty of produce and homemade products available for purchase. She said pumpkins, radishes and peppers are particularly plentiful during the late part of the growing season and are sold at the winter market.
The market typically has produce, jam, artisan bread and maple syrup.
