Bethany Baptist Church will hold a family fun festival May 1 beginning at 2 p.m.
The event includes a Hawaiian luau dinner at 4:30 p.m., games throughout the afternoon, and a music concert and Christian comedian. Child care will be provided during the concert and comedian act.
Comedian Michael Joiner will perform at 6 p.m. Joiner worked as a television double in Hollywood and writes jokes for late night television.
Considering Lily, a Christian music group, will perform at 7 p.m. The two women, Jeanette Herdman and Pearl Barrett, will sing songs from their CD, "The Piceces Fit."
Reserved tickets are $10 and $12 at the door.
