The fall reopening of the Cape Girardeau Central High School swimming pool has been delayed, said Randy Barnhouse, aquatic coordinator.
Originally the pool was scheduled to reopen Nov. 1, but arrival of the new bubble has been delayed until Nov. 11. Crews have also been reconditioning the buildings during the closure.
The delayed opening has forced the cancellation of the first two sessions of public swimming lessons, said Barnhouse. But he said a new session will begin on Nov. 30.
