More than 2,000 people watched Monday night as Randy Schwartzkopf of Nashville, Ill., won the SEMO District Fair Demolition Derby.

Paid admission was 2,070, and 102 cars were entered in the competition, which included six heats, a B main and the A main championship.

Coming in second in the championship match was Windell Bowman of McLeansboro, Ill.

Winning the B main was Sidney Miller of Olive Branch, Ill., and coming in second was Howard Foster of Scott City.

Third heat: Matt Seiler of Frieheim and Mark Ketcher of Cape Girardeau.

Fourth heat: Allen Bailey of Cobden, Ill., and Thomas Carter of Anna, Ill.

Fifth heat: Andy Brown of Millersville and Tim Schmelzle of Ste. Genevieve.
