The photographs show people in their environs at the park, along the riverfront, on the steamboats and on horse-drawn wagons.

Dated from the turn of the century to the first part of the 20th century, the photographs provide a glimpse of the lifestyles of long ago. Neumeyer, a native of Cape Girardeau and graduate of Southeast, owns the Olive Branch Bed and Breakfast in Cape Girardeau.

An opening reception will be held in the Hirsch Community Room at the library from 2-4 p.m. Sunday.
