EXECUTIVES CLUB PLANS EVENT; HUMORIST FIELDS WILL BE GUEST

George Fields, a full-time humorist, will be the featured speaker at the Oct. 9 meeting of the Cape Girardeau Executives Club.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the Drury Lodge.

Fields was born in Mississippi, reared in Louisiana and is a graduate of Mississippi College and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Prior to becoming a full-time entertainer, Fields served as a YMCA youth director, college athlete, soldier and church staff worker.
