JUNE 8, 9, 22, 23, 29, 30 Cape River Heritage Museum: The Cape River Heritage Museum, at the corner of Independence and Frederick streets, is open every weekend, with Friday and Saturday tours available from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Exhibits focus on the history of Missouri and the Cape Girardeau area. JUNE 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30 The Glenn House: The Glenn House on Spanish Street is open every Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. The house was built in 1883 and is preserved today much as it was when the Glenn family occupied the home until 1915. For more information call 335-1631.

JUNE 6, 13, 20, 27 Cape Municipal Band: The Cape Girardeau Municipal Band performs every Wednesday during the summer at the Capaha Park Bandshell at 8 p.m., featuring a special guest conductor each week. Lawn chairs and blankets suggested.
