APRIL 7 A.C. Brase Arena Building: The Cape Girardeau Kiwanis Club will host its '50s and '60s Old Time Rock and Roll Dance from 8 p.m. to midnight. The concert will feature Bruce Channel of "Hey Baby" fame. APRIL 20 Deerfield Lodge: The Community Counseling Center Foundation will host its sixth annual Community Benefit Wine Festival from 6 to 9 p.m. Twelve Missouri wineries will be featured at the event. Admission is $25 in advance and $30 at the door, and all proceeds go to benefit the Community Counseling Center Foundation. APRIL 21-22 Southeast Student Rec Center South: The Marvels and Legends comic book store will host its second annual Comic Con at the Student Rec Center South, 926 Broadway, from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. April 21 and 10 a.m. t 6 p.m. April 22. APRIL 28-29 Downtown Cape: The Cape Convention and Visitors Bureau will host a tour called Rediscover Your Cape from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Participants will tour six historic downtown locations including the Red House Interpretive Center, Cape River Heritage Museum, the Glenn House, Old St. Vincent's Church, Fort D and Old Lorimier Cemetery. MAY 4-6 Fort D: Local Civil War re-enactors and historians transport Cape's Fort D back to the days of the Civil War, giving visitors a chance to see life at the fort during the four years it was occupied in Cape. Events include living history demonstrations and live music. Admission is free.
